Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions about how we work? Find answers to common questions about Whole Health Assessments, online consultations, appointment costs, testing, detoxification, colon hydrotherapy, and what to expect when working with the Marpay Centre.
What happens during my initial visit to the Marpay Centre? Even if it is an online visit?
Your initial Whole Health Assessment typically takes 2 to 2½ hours. We take time to review your health history and assess your individual needs using approaches that may include auricular testing, iridology, tongue analysis and allergy testing. From there, we determine your health priorities and develop an individualized approach for moving forward.
Online appointments follow much the same process, allowing us to work with clients who are unable to visit the Marpay Centre in person.
For both types of appointments please send me your lab work, and any other investigative tests that you have had done to: info@marpaycentre.org

Can I have a Whole Health Assessment online?
Yes. Online consultations allow us to work with clients who cannot come to the Marpay Centre in person. Much of the same health history and assessment process can be completed remotely. Before your appointment, please send any recent lab work or investigative test results that may be helpful to info@marpaycentre.org
What should I send or bring before my appointment?
Please provide any recent lab work, medical test results or other investigative reports that may be relevant to your health concerns. A list of medications, supplements, herbs and other products you currently take can also be helpful.
For online appointments, these can be sent to info@marpaycentre.org before your consultation.
What kinds of health concerns do you work with?
People come to the Marpay Centre with a wide variety of health concerns, including digestive problems, low energy, detoxification concerns, structural issues, skin concerns and long-standing or complex health problems. Especially immune system problems.
Rather than focusing on just one symptom, we look at the whole person and try to determine which areas should be addressed first.
Do I need to know what is causing my symptoms before I book?
No. In fact, you don’t need to arrive with a diagnosis or know which treatment you need.
Many people come to us after researching things such as mold, histamine, gut health, heavy metals or particular tests and treatments. These may be important pieces of the puzzle, but they aren’t necessarily the best place to begin. Our approach is to determine your individual priorities and work through them in an appropriate order.
Will I need supplements, herbs or homeopathic remedies?
Recommendations are individualized, so they will depend upon what is identified during your assessment. Depending on your needs, your protocol may include nutritional supplements, herbs, homeopathic preparations or other approaches.
We don’t assume that everyone needs the same products or protocol.
How often will I need a follow-up appointment?
The timing of follow-up appointments depends upon your individual needs and the program you are following, but generally about every 6 6o 8 weeks if you have a chronic condition. Follow-ups allow us to review your progress, reassess priorities and make changes to your protocol when appropriate.
Follow-up appointments are currently $75–$195, depending on the appointment length. (Please keep in mind the cost includes emails, phone calls & texts.)
What is the difference between cleansing, detoxification and drainage?
Although these terms are sometimes used interchangeably, they can involve different approaches. We choose a cleanse, detoxification or drainage approach based on your individual needs, which may include addressing environmental toxins, heavy metals and cellular waste.
Detox or cleansing is usually referring to getting the liver, colon, kidneys & lymphatic system cleaned out. Drainage is referring to using homeopathic remedies to drain the toxins out of your cells or around your cells.
Think of a detox or a cleanse as “solid waste” that you mainly eliminate through the bowels but drainage as cellular waste that you eliminate through the bowels, kidneys, nose, lungs or skin.
The goal is not simply to “detox,” but to determine what approach is appropriate for you and when it should be introduced.
What is colon hydrotherapy and do I need to prepare for it?
Colon hydrotherapy can be used on its own or alongside a cleanse or other program. Proper preparation is important to make the experience more comfortable and beneficial.
If you have not had a colonic before or have not had one in more than 6 months you will need to book a phone consultation for colon hydrotherapy preparation. Based on your responses, an in-office appointment may also be recommended.
Do you work with children?
Yes. We offer appointments for children 18 years of age and under, with shorter appointments currently priced at $75 plus GST.
The assessment and recommendations are adapted to the child’s individual needs.
How much do appointments cost?
An initial Whole Health Assessment for an initial or complex case is $250 and generally takes 2 to 2½ hours.
Follow-up appointments range from $75–$195, depending on the length of the appointment. Heavy metal detox programs have a $275 setup fee. Colon hydrotherapy is $100–$105, and preparation phone consultations are $75.
GST is additional. Test kits and certain other products or services are not included unless specifically stated.
What if I follow my protocol but don't see results?
If you book an initial appointment and a follow-up appointment, follow the protocol set up for you, and do not see results 6–8 weeks after your follow-up appointment, we will re-test you at no charge.
This gives us an opportunity to reassess what is happening and determine whether your priorities or protocol need to be changed.
